Public Notice: Proposed Changes to Local Rules

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Indiana is seeking public comment concerning proposed changes to the court’s Local Rules.  The changes involve the following:

      B-2002-2     Notice of Opportunity to Object to Motions, adding a new paragraph (a)(28) addressing applications to employ professionals, other than debtor’s counsel, in Chapter 12 and 13 cases.

      B-2002-3     Limited Notice in Chapter 7 Cases, adding Chapter 12 and 13 cases to the rule.

      B-2016-1     Presumptively Reasonable Attorney’s Fees in Chapter 13 Cases, adding a new local rule addressing attorneys fees in Chapter 13 cases.

      B-3007-1     Objection to Claims; Default, adding a new paragraph addressing the valuation of a secured claim in a claim objection.
