The Indiana Supreme Court adopted an Attorney Surrogate Rule that governs the appointment and conduct of attorneys serving as an attorney surrogate in the event a lawyer has died, disappeared, become disabled, or has been disbarred or suspended and has not fully complied with the provisions of Ind. Admission and Discipline Rule 23, Section 26 . This rule can be found in Admission and Discipline Rule 23, Section 27, Attorney Surrogate.
