The United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Indiana, encourages those interested in becoming an approved mediator to complete the Mediator Registry Application and submit to Diana Walters, Executive Assistant to the Clerk of Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, 401 South Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana 46601 or email to diana_walters@innb.uscourts.gov. Section 3.1 of General Order 2001-02 provides the criteria applicants must meet to be approved as a mediator.
Upon approval of the submitted application by court order, you will be added to the court’s Approved Mediators List, which can be found on our web page. Approved applicants will receive email confirming approval. Section 3.3 of General Order 2001-02 requires each applicant on the court’s Approved Mediator List to reaffirm every five years the continued existence and accuracy of the qualifications, statements, and representations made in the application.
