The Office of the Clerk records case filing data for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Information, both numerical and graphical, on total case filings and filings under each Chapter of the Bankruptcy Code is available for the District as a whole and for each Divisional office. Statistics are posted one month after the close of the prior month.

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts compiles national statistics on bankruptcy filings for each quarter ending December, March, June and September. The fiscal year for the federal Judiciary ends September 30. The calendar year ends December 31. Quarterly and 12-month statistics are available approximately 2 months after the close of a quarter.
